EVENT HAS ENDED
The theme for July's blind tasting is: Women in Wine - however you'd like to interpret that.
Bring your favorite bottle that fits in, with a story to share.
As usual we'll be holding this at Ground Wine Bar, Monday 1st June 6.30pm start with a maximum of 10 people, first in first served.
Format
On arrival, check your wine in with the manager on duty at Ground Wine Bar.
Join everyone else at the big table and mingle.
Wines will be blinded in flights of 3 in clear decanters.
Discuss and evaluate.
The wines will be revealed after all flights are tasted. Please provide a brief commentary for your wine.
Wines glasses, spittons and water will be provided.
Food can be ordered from Ground Wine Bar’s menu, at additional charge.
Our last tasting, of Women in Wine, was a fantastic success, both in the turn out and the quality of wine. The discussions were excellent and we loved hearing everyone's stories and reasoning.
