MARs Birthdays

We’d like to invite you to our last tasting of 2026. At this time of year, our three directors celebrate their birthdays, so let’s get the party started. Our theme for December might be a little tricky: bring a wine to celebrate Max’s, Aleks’s or Ronald’s birthday.

Like with all of our tastings, you must have a good story behind the bottle you bring and be prepared to share it. Remember, be creative. Don’t bring Champagne just because everyone loves it. If you’re going to bring it, be specific about it.

Format

On arrival, check your wine in with the manager on duty at Ground Wine Bar.

Join everyone else at the big table and mingle.

Wines will be blinded in flights of 3 in clear decanters.

Discuss and evaluate.

The wines will be revealed after all flights are tasted. Please provide a brief commentary for your wine.

Wines glasses, spittons and water will be provided.

Food can be ordered from Ground Wine Bar’s menu, at additional charge.
